I just received some unsolicited advice, and I’m not happy about it!
Unsolicited advice: “Well, your designs are not focused on a niche audience. You should focus on the niche target that I’ve mentioned before. Well, I guess you’re just doing this as a hobby, so I’ll leave it at that”.
Response: I was offended. Didn’t that mean, “you’re designs are not marketable, and your products lack a sense of direction”? I loved my designs, and I have planned on designing for that specific mentioned niche earlier today. How are you so fast to decide on what I should and should not do?
Reflection: None of your blissness. Just take the good intentions and move on in your own pace. Focus, with unwavering intention on what you love, and what shall come will come in its own accord. No need to give it unnecessary excess potential. (And try not to give unsolicited advice to other people too. Especially to your mom.)
